SADA SPACE (sada meaning “now” in Croatian) is a practice by Ejla Miletić that moves between design, craft and ritual. Each piece is both object and process. Hand-formed in beeswax, the work dives into the intangible, impermanent space of time through sculptural candles. The pieces are meant to change with time: to sag, to stain and finally to disappear; turning a functional object into a temporal sculpture, making time itself a part of the design. The sculptural candle also serves as a proposition, a quiet gesture of shared presence and kinship.
